What exactly is this program anyway?
513FIT fitness classes are run in a circuit format. We use kettlebells, weights, calisthenics, med balls, and core work to engage your whole body.
Certain exercises show up a lot, allowing you to pursue mastery and improve at the basics. Other exercises vary to address different qualities.
There is also a recovery option within each circuit so you’re able to do the strength work as strength, rather than just using weights to get a high heart rate.
This is a serious workout, but the movements can be scaled up or down depending on your needs.
When?
Monday / Wednesday / Friday
- 6 – 6:45 am
- 7 – 7:45 am
- 8 – 8:45 am
Where?
Power 3 Fitness at 7227 Plainfield Rd.
What should I wear?
Regular workout clothes. I’m partial to minimalist shoes, but if you need supportive shoes, then wear them.
Are there shower and changing rooms?
Yes, we’ve got separate changing rooms and showers, so you can get ready and go straight from class to work.
What should I do on my days off from class?
It depends on how you’re feeling on any given day. Walking, cycling, swimming, jogging, or other conditioning work is usually a good idea. Use cardio for health and fitness, but don’t chase sore and tired.
